I need your help, my sister and my brother
You did not choose to rape the earth, our mother,
“To have dominion over life on earth,”
To slash and burn the source that gave us birth.
But now the onus falls on you and me
Forsaking comfort and familiarity,
To walk away from the cold, hard machine,
To fashion something we have never seen.

Reaching out, nurturing bonds, preparing
Local networks based on mutual caring
The living earth is bounteous if we
Support and feed biodiversity.
No state or company condones this plan;
We must begin at once, while we still can.
